What Is Acupuncture?

A precise, evidence-informed therapy, not just an old tradition

Acupuncture uses ultra-fine, sterile needles placed at specific points on the body to reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, and support your body’s own healing response. It’s rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and modern research continues to back up many of the ways it actually works.

What OUR Patients Say

Trusted by patients across Barrie

  • I can’t say enough good things about my chiropractor, Julie Steffler. From the very first visit, she has been friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. I never feel rushed, and Julie always takes the time to listen and explain what she’s seeing and what she’s doing, which makes a huge difference from past chiros I have used.

Dr. Meghan provides a patient-centered approach to chiropractic treatments, grounded in a strong professional background and a dedication to the well-being of those under her care. Truly a 5-star wellness centre!

  • I had an incredible experience with Zoe. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and instantly put me at ease. Her communication was perfectly balanced, just enough to guide the session while still allowing me to fully relax during my massage.

Most patients describe the sensation as minimal, often just a quick pinch or nothing at all. The needles used are extremely fine, and Bonnie adjusts technique based on your comfort level throughout the session.
